Art question on clay?
Where can I find real clay that you use to make pottery? I'm not digging in the ground and I do not want to pay a lot of money. I want the real nature, not the kind to children, they sell at Wal-Mart.
Keep in mind that some clays must be baked in an oven. You can buy clay that dry air, and you can buy clay that fires at low temperature (you can bake in the kitchen). But none of these will heal in a room that has the force of a piece of ceramic pottery baked in an oven at high temperature. If you want to make ceramic pieces, and then to find a local pottery studio or a community college that has a oven they will allow you to use. For basic needs visit an art shop and get some air dry clay.
